Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering. – Hebrews 13: 1-3
‘Loving one another’ and ‘showing hospitality’ are the roots of Christian living. As the children of God, we don’t need to do big deeds of charity all the time, but we should always be open-hearted and kind towards people. We are instructed to love each other like brothers and sisters – we need to have pure thoughts, humbleness and respect for each other. And our hospitality should go beyond our acquaintances and friends – we should treat everybody equally.
